A while ago I found an amazing jigsaw puzzle with a gorgeous illustration on it from what I thought was a legitimate source on another social media platform. When I received the puzzle, it turned out to be a cheap knock off that had used the illustration without the creators permission and I was very upset I had unknowingly supported this theft. I ended up going to the creators website after learning about it and purchasing the legit puzzle, which was much higher quality, but now I’m a bit wary.
I found another beautiful puzzle whilst scrolling through social media again and would like to purchase it, but how do I make sure I’m not repeating my same mistake?
