Hi! I’m about to start my second comprehensive exam (i.e., a massive paper) for my PhD. I chose to focus on feminist rhetoric via manifestos. While I already have my materials, I would love to read something Jewish as my connection to Judaism and my Jewishness has deepened a lot in response to gestures vaguely around me
Any recommendations for Jewish manifestos that are feminist in nature, especially ones that are also queer or lesbian? I really would prefer one that is not anti-Israel as I am finding plenty of those….
ETA: I still haven't unpacked after my move, so I can't get all of these together, but I did want to share some of my queer/feminist/Jewish books for y'all. Not all of these are Jewish, but many are.
Nice Jewish Girls is a second wave era lesbian anthology. Not a manifesto exactly but could help guide you to the people writing them
