Ever since I was a child I felt so connected to Judaism, but I don’t really know why. I think I am just a very spiritual person in general. I was raised reform, and I think the liberal version of Judaism made it easier for me to really like it. But even my brother doesn’t care that much about it. I’m not super religious, I can’t even tell you the last time I’ve been to a Shabbat service, but I feel so connected to the culture. When I went on birth right we were at the western wall and all the women held hands, sang songs and I knew all these Jewish folk songs. It was one of the most incredible experiences, people from all over the world together and I knew all the songs that they knew.
Does anyone else feel like this ?
