Has 14k JTC 969 stamped inside shank. From my research I believe that means it’s a zales piece? Please correct me if I’m wrong. It is set in yellow gold on a crossover mounting. Natural diamond cluster. Im going to weigh it when I get home and post weight in comments. Not sure if weight matters? In near perfect condition, sat in a box forever. I think I’m the only one that has worn it ever. My grandma is a hoarder so unfortunately has no paperwork to grade diamonds. I’m just curious about any more information about it. Not interested in selling, would like to know if it’s worth getting appraised for insurance purposes. Thanks for any and all help!!
I’ve found similar ones still sold today but nothing matching that mounting specifically. Do you have any suggestions on how I might go about finding information about it online? I’m not sure what they could tell me if I went into a zales store.

Oh definitely. Old was the wrong word to describe it lol thanks for catching that! I’m assuming anywhere from the 70-90s so you’re spot on. Even so, I can’t seem to find the same mounting anywhere online. I searched high and low and there are some VERY similar but nothing exactly the same. Zales is a huge company so there’s no way that’s the only one produced ever lol it’s not rare or like you said 100 years old. I think my next step is to bring it into a zales location to see if anyone can give me any information about it and send it in to grade the diamonds. Value aside, I’d love it if it was worth 10 dollars or 10,000. I’m beyond blessed to have my grandparents still with me. We share a common love for jewelry so there’s certain pieces that I’d like to have paperwork for in case anything ever happened to them. She saved specific pieces for each person in her life so it means a lot to her. I wanted to learn about it a little bit to share with her to show that it’s just as important to me as it is to her!
