Bad things happen in threes!
Post Body

2023 GLI owner here.

They say bad things come in threes and I think I unlocked that achievement!

  1. Park my car at a random stop at my apt complex. Go inside to shower and get ready for work. Come out to my driver-side tire completely flat. Put on the donut, can see the hole in the tire. Mavis was able to patch it. Great!

  2. Less than a week later, pulling out of my parking space at the work parking garage. It is a nice day so I open my windows for once, and as I am backing out I hear that very distinct sound of rubber being popped, like a basketball. I immediately stopped and got out to see what happened. I managed to roll over a nail on my driver-side rear tire. I can see the massive nail head just chilling, so I fill my tire up and drive to that same local Mavis, and they patch that tire. GREAT!

  3. I get in my car like any other morning and start driving. I notice this insanely annoying rattle. Never was there before! It sounds like it is coming from behind the Infotainment screen and right above the Glovebox behind it. Basically during certain bumps and not hard ones, you hear this rattle coming from that area. It is loud enough to cut through whatever you are listening to at say quarter volume on the radio. It also happens on deceleration, but only at lower speeds, like 20MPH or lower. It is ALL I notice now when driving and it is making me nuts and there is nothing I can do about it. I hate that cars start rattling as they get older, but this car ISN'T THAT OLD!

Just wanted to rant!
