I bought my first jellycat stuffy beginning of October (lilac bashful bunny💜) and after a few weeks it had a 1 inch opening where the stitching came out along it's chest. I sewed it back up. Now, I woke up to find one of its ears completely detached loose in my bed! 😭 I only cuddle it when I sleep. I don't carry it around in the day or ever hold it by the ears. It's not like I've been rough on it at all! Its never been through the wash. It's only 2.5 months old! Has anyone else had this experience? I had been under the impression jellycat was a good brand. I don't know if I should buy another jellycat, if this one was maybe just a dud somehow, or if I should avoid them as this will just happen again? Are they only supposed to be display stuffies not cuddled? I don't think it was a fake. Its got proper looking jellycat London tags, and looks right. Though I've gone back to check the website where I bought it from and they don't have any jellycat items anymore so that's kind of odd.

Any insights or advice welcome please.
