Do JWs in Russia mind that gathering together in person was halted for COVID, but not for the law?

My family really wasn't too worried about COVID for our household, none of us were high risk at all. In fact we all got it and, for us it was like an easy cold. I'm not saying this how it was for a lot of families, but we are all young and healthy and we weren't concerned.

However, prior to COVID I remember having conversations about how terrifying it it would be to have to gather together if we worried about winding up in jail and separated from our families. We all have minor children and the thought of the government taking them away is beyond devastating.

So I was just wondering if there are any other JWs who felt betrayed that meetings shut down for physical safety of the disease variety, but not the physical safety of keeping families free and together.
