So when I got my Renegade back with my newly installed hitch a few days ago, the body shop guy gave me a three page sheet of software updates that were done at the Chrysler dealer, thanks to a Sherlock tech that took an interest in my Renegade. I ultimately may have never received these updates if the body shop hadn't found issues with one of my taillights after installing the hitch, which prompted a warranty covered taillight replacement that solved the issue.
I can't remember all of them, but I saved the sheets to go with my maintenance records. They ranged from dash, powertrain, locks, braking, and I'm sure many others. I think my favorite one so far was being able to put the Compass direction in my center-right display. It feels like my brakes a little more responsive now as well. Still no way to find out my gear besides switching to auto-stick, but I'll live.
Seeing how I've had my '15 Trailhawk for over a year since this past April, I thought all of our early adopter owners might want to know: There's a bunch of software updates out there! If there is any interest, I'll scan in the sheets and share them (while obscuring some information to protect the innocent...).
