Hey everyone a quick question concerning ole faithful. Yesterday i started to notice the smell of burnt oil in the cabin. Equally as strong when i was letting it idle this morning, along with light blue smoke coming out the exhaust when pulling out the driveway (not a huge cloud about a seconds worth with the initial acceleration, my gf noticed it out the kitchen window)... I'm reading everywhere a valve cover gasket is a pain in the ass on the 4.7s something with the plentom fuel injectors having to be removed? Any tips or tricks? Is there a additive i can add to seal the issue for now, like bates with head gasket issues. Any fellow redditors in a shop know the average price for a job like this? Any educated knowledge helps!
