Before I get hate in the comments or people calling me an idiot, this is the first time I’ve taken off my doors, and this is my first car, and I’m super young.
So last night I decided to head to my river house in my Jeep, and I decided it would be awesome to take my doors off on the way there.
Long story short, when I turned off my car after the journey, the center dashboard that shows the radio and maps and all that stayed on. My doors are an hour away at this point, and after looking it all up and everything I decided the best fix is just turning off the display. The volume knob light was still on, but since I’m a novice at car shit I thought it would be fine to just leave it on over night.
Well Lo and behold, my battery is dead. I’m about to jump start my car, but after that, what can I do to make the dashboard lights stay off? I’ve already tried taking out the glove box to turn off the door defeat fuse, but uh, the fuse box isn’t even there in my car. I don’t know if it’s part of the design or if the previous owner took it out for some weird reason.
The car is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, (obviously) used.
Thanks I’m advance, and sorry if the formatting is weird, I’m on mobile.
