Hope this helps someone as I was looking in all the wrong places for a solution. If you have the Stinger HU on your Jeep and using Android Auto, you might be experiencing your GPS freaking out when navigating. This can be extremely frustrating when you're in an unfamiliar location. As it turns out, as opposed to Apple, Android Auto can use both the phone and external GPS for location. If your phone isn't getting good line of sight, it will basically fight with the external Stinger antenna causing speed, location and direction issues. To remedy this, simply go into Settings/Apps/Android Auto/Permissions - disable location. This forces the head unit to use the external GPS and problem solved. Not sure why Stinger support people didn't know this when I called, but finally fixing this made my day...hope I just helped whoever is reading this as well.
