I have a 2011 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo with about 130,000 miles on it. Yesterday while I was driving it just started overheating. It shot up out of nowhere to about 290°. Pulled over to the nearest lot left it overnight and thought maybe it was the thermostat so I replaced the thermostat today started driving and then it started smoking on the left side there. I pulled only one code p054a. I also just got an oil change if that makes any difference. Any ideas or tips or helps on what it could possibly be to overheat.
