Finally got around to listening to the album. Instantly turned it off after the Farrakhan shout out. I know many within this community will downvote me for saying this but I would like to talk with people who actually care about this.
I’ve liked Cole since the early days when he was walking in every video. I accept that many black celebrities are down with Farrakhan and I try not to overthink it. But Cole caught me off guard here. So I’m asking, why are Cole fans cool with Cole choosing to use the opening track to his album to directly support Farrakhan?
"The Jews don’t like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man." -- Louis Farrakhan in 1984.
