There is a 2014 German film called Phoenix in which the jazz standard Speak Low plays an integral part in the narrative. The main character was formerly a cabaret singer before the Holocaust disrupted her life, and Speak Low recurs throughout the film until the she sings it in the climactic moment.
It's a stunning scene, but I wanted to bring attention to an instrumental version that plays over the film's end credits, one which I find immaculate. Listen here to a recording I took of it. I love how the vocal melody begins on bass, with that delicate, spare piano backing that slowly begins to creep as the song builds.
My guess is that it was recorded for the film's score, but I wanted to post it here to see if anyone recognized it as an existing recording. I'd love to have it in high quality, but I don't think an official soundtrack/score was ever released for the film. If anyone recognizes it, please by all means share, otherwise enjoy!
