Citizen Axiom question

Post Body
So I bought a Axiom about 18 months ago. Great watch, I have had many compliments about it. Well a month ago it died, even though it had light. Whether the light was natural or man made. So fast forward to today, open my curtains and sunlight through the window fell on the dial face. Next thing I know it is working again. My question is, is natural sunlight the only way to power it? Even though Citizen cliams any light source.
