Hi trying to finalise my travel itinerary for later this month in Japan and I'm trying to figure out the best way to travel between Kyoto Osaka and Nara!

We have 3 nights booked for Kyoto, arriving late on Monday then Tuesday and Wednesday to explore. Then leave Thursday for 2 nights booked in Osaka, then want to get out of Osaka early on the Saturday morning to head to Hiroshima.

I originally planned to do Nara as a day trip from Kyoto, then decided it might be a good idea to do Nara the day we travel to Osaka as we are traveling anyway. And would send our luggage in advance.

Then a friend of mine suggested we do Nara as a day trip from Osaka on the Friday. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on possibly the best way to organise these three places.

Or what you’d recommend around these areas?
