Hello all,
For my birthday next October Iβll be traveling with about 11 in a group. I have been to Japan 3 times and speak a little Japanese and can read many signs. So, I know that even with two people getting a table or getting into a smaller bar can be tricky, spaces are much smaller in Japan and also the over-tourism thing is definitely a factor.
My question is: do you have any advice for traveling with this many people? How am I supposed to get reservations for everyone at the same time and restaurant? Should I just be at peace with the fact that we will just always be split up into smaller groups? Iβm the only one in the group with any real knowledge of the culture and language so I donβt want anyone to be confused or left out.
On that note too: if you have any specific restaurants in Tokyo that might be good to accommodate this many people, I can book well in advance.
Any and all advice would be appreciated. γγγγ¨γγγγγΎγοΌ
