I’m either blind or the website isn’t working. I’ve checked Yamato and Sagawa, both of which do not let me schedule ahead of time for luggage pickup and delivery. Is this normal?

I’m traveling most of Asia for a month so I’ll have a gigantic 160cm overall size luggage and I’ve heard japan’s stations have a lot of stairs. I don’t want to be a burden and annoy the locals, hence I want to use this service but it seems like I have to go into the physical stores to book or ask the hotel?

Second question; if im traveling between Tokyo and Kyoto, do they have same day day service for luggage transfer?
