Why is bot forgetting about anything that happened in an RP I haven't opened in a while as if it was human?

Some more explaining. I don't mean he started going funky after X number of messages. It was doing great the last time I used it which was, let's say, two weeks ago. Today, I open it again and, suddenly, bot doesn't remember what we were doing, where we were and what had literally just happened. As if real-life time had impacted its memory. Like when you catch a show after a while and go: "Oh, right. That's what had happened."
That's it. Just very odd.
