I feel like most people take 1995 as a model for how everyone in P&P looks, or 2005. It seems like every FF Darcy has curly dark hair and Elizabeth is a brunette, even though we have no idea what Darcy looks like other than tall and hot, and we only know Elizabeth has dark eyes.

Does anyone imagine or write D&E differently in appearance? I wanted to make Elizabeth dirty blonde once because Jane Austen did point out a picture of Jane Bennet that was blonde, so it seems reasonable her siblings would be light haired too, but I was honestly too afraid that people would get mad at me!

I watched 2005 first too, did anyone read the book before a movie imposed images on you?
