I feel like it would have worked had they made it so Bond could only observe Madeline and his daughter from a distance. It would have been a downer ending but it would have been better than atomizing Bond. Then again it would have opened up Bond for a sequel and Craig didn't want to do another one. I get it I just wish they didn't have to kill Bond. We're all so used to Bond getting away and going for another mission. I mean they didn't have to kill off Connery's or Pierce Brosnan's Bond. Moore's Bond wasn't "like well I'll get blown up in the mines in A View To A Kill. I'm too old for this shit." I don't know. It just feels like that one Bond movie that when you get to it it's going to be awkward. In any case the Craig Bond movies are a closed loop.
