Fact-checking for prices in Jakarta (I used Numbeo)

The prices don't seem to tally with what I experienced the last time I was there, which was about five years ago. According to a local friend, things have gotten much more expensive?
I've noticed that Numbeo and online cost of living estimates are not always accurate, so I thought I would check here.
He says food has gotten way more expensive in particular.
