Many "brave" people today think it a matter of bravery to turn away from Dharma. They regard those who practise Dharma as cowards and themselves as brave. As a result, whenever someone speaks of Dev, Guru and Dharma to them, they cast an irritated look and say, 'All of this is for jobless people.'. The same people unwillingly spend their time on several worldly activities even though they have no time for or interest in it. But, when it comes to exalting God, listening to scriptures from the Guru, or doing any other activity related to Dharma, they turn their backs to these three.

We wish to remind people like these, 'O fortunate ones, today you might have turned your backs to us, to Dev, Guru, and Dharma, but remember, don't turn your back when the fruit of your sins ripens. Display your bravery even when confronted with the consequences of your sin – for even if you become a coward then, there will be no escape. You will not be able to run away from them. Thus, try being a little understanding. Only Dev, Guru and Dharma are capable of shielding you from all sins: do not commit the enormous transgression of turning your back to them.'
