Is Baalke the soul reason why?

I don't see what makes this not the most coveted job besire Baalke being, to say the least. Not good. We have a very young and proven QB a star WR who is coming off his rookie campaign. Our defense didn't work out due to Neilson but we have plenty of defensive pieces such as Walker, Hines-Allen and such. I hate Baalke as much as the next guy, but is he so bad that none of this other stuff that'd make it the most covered job not matter?
