This isn't a question I see raised much, but was Jack the Ripper a cannibal?
Obviously, we can't prove this either way, but given what we do know and the psychological insights that many people have given, is it likely?
Assuming the canonical five are correct, he took part of the bladder and uterus from Annie Chapman, a kidney and the uterus from Catherine Eddowes, and the heart from Mary Jane Kelly.
The From Hell letter says he ate half the kidney of Eddowes but this is mostly considered to be a hoax.
What did he do with these organs if he didn't consume them? Were they his trophies? If so, would he have tried to preserve them?
