Y'all provided some great advice when I shared my decidedly mundane circumstances. But here's an update.

The letter my SO wanted to write to her sits unsent in the draft folder of his email.

SO doesn't have her blocked anywhere but doesn't engage with her at all. I have her blocked everywhere, but I still get voicemails.

She is still operating under the assumption that I am in control of him and am keeping him from her... She has her aging father and older sister call him. He answers the phone for Gramps and changes the subject when it comes up. He doesn't answer her sister's calls.

Her VMs to me are weird. Her latest, invoking Valentine's Day no less, is that I need to open my heart. I shit you not.

2/05/21 "Hi, this is <full name>, I'm calling from <state she lives in>, my number is <phone number>, and I just wanted to send some love and to say I love you very much and Valentine's Day is coming and I was just wondering if you could open your heart up yet if you're ready and available, but anyway I just wanted to reach out, say hi and send you love. Bye for now."

Since I'm not communicating with her they are mostly just weird and funny now, here's a small sample of July 2020 selections

7/11/20 singing "Hey, happy belated birthday to you, you live in a zoo, your children are monkeys and they smell like them too," stops singing "yeah, nice, i just realized how awful that song was. I'm just calling to say happy birthday and I love you! Be powerful!" <<wut

7/17/20 "Aloha and happy belated birthing day to you I hope <youngest child> had a good birthday and I hope you did as well, and I just wanted to send my love from <state>, I hope all is well up there. And I just wanted to give you that for today um I love you bye."

7/18/20 "Hello you spirit of love goddess! I am calling to touch base and to let you know you are loved! And I'm thinking about you! And I hope your health is good! And I want you to be feeling strong and healthy and lovely so I'm sending you my love and my energy, have a good rest of your day!"

There are a dozen or more of these, she likes to throw the word "love" around a lot in these messages, sometimes she sounds manic, like super over the top energized, other times she sounds so down. As for an apology for her behaviour? Never likely to come, she DID apologize for doubting the pain my various medical conditions put me in... but I never knew she questioned it in the first place.... so..... that would explain some shit she's said about me (I only heard second hand so, grain of salt and all that).

But what made her change her mind you definitely did not ask? She says she psychically reached out to me on the astral plane, and can now SEE the damage and pain in my body.... Listen, I'm a pagan, I love me a nice herbal tea to help fall asleep, a pretty crystal to use in meditation, a lit candle for prayer and to honor the dead, an envelope of fine glitter as a curse (jk)... but this woman is so far into the woo woo.

Whatever though, we're moving sooner rather than later and she will no longer know where we live at least. Hopefully I won't have anymore updates to share.
