Hey ppl, happy Thanksgiving and all that.

Last time I posted I asked for some advice on an email reply to my JNMIL's voicemail to me where she called my SO her husband, well after reading through those responses we haven't sent her anything. Y'all were right. She obviously knows what she has done, we don't need to rehash it with her.

My husband now has 0 tolerance from any family.

Anyways, she's been spam calling him every once in a while, he's reluctant to block her entirely, but doesn't answer any of her communications.

The last written communique was her texting him after calling him three times in a row yesterday to guilt trip him about his step dad's birthday. SFIL is nice enough, but is deep in the FOG and is super enabling. She's already used him to get to SO a few weeks ago.

Wave 1 of the flying monkeys deployed, weapon equipped? "The only thing I want for my bday is for you to talk to your mom." Shots fired across the bow.

Wave 2: A few days after that was her using SO's paternal aunt to reach out. We were willing to talk to her because we've always had a relationship with her outside of MIL. But they've recently reconnected I guess. Either way, aunt said she'd call back in a couple of hours and then didn't call or answer the phone. So, that wave was a dud, but also is just kinda bumming us out. We like this auntie.

After no response JNMIL goes for the big guns. She msgs my dad (totally JY) and my father's wife (also amazing and JY). Neither of them respond to her, and just so happened to be visiting us for a few days the next day. I'm telling them about the "Voicemail" where she's calling my SO her "husband" and they respond by pulling out their phones to show me the msgs.

My lovely family, folks, I'm so proud of them.

This last msg was not only the guilt trip but also saying that we should meet up for XMAS at her sister's place one state over and "reconnect".... effing LOL

Honestly I'm expecting her to show up at our door. But let her try, I'm not going anywhere, and she's not coming anywhere near my kids.
