Post Body

This is about my mum.

Today DH left LO with my Mum at 4, I got home at 6:30 and LO had not eaten since 3 when DH fed her after her naps. My Mum at 7:40 while I was trying to get her fed invited us (LO &me) to go for a drive with JNS and her.

Since LO was new born my Mum likes to brag about how she would run her errands and do what she wanted/needed regardless of mine and my siblings rest needs and we did “just fine” . LO is great unless she is sleep deprived and it can take DAYS to get her back on track especially if she skips enough mid day naps or they are short.

I am also preparing for a trip alone so I do need her on her regular sleep schedule for the drive.

LO is 20months and an angle baby, slept through the night in her own crib at 3m. As she had gotten older her sleep schedule has been adjusting to her needs.

Awake at 630a for cuddles and milk 830 for breakfast 11-12 down for nap 2-4 up 7-830 goes to bed

I am very proud of mine and DH consistency and LO’s compliance.

Oftentimes when my mother watched LO in the evening when DH and I are on overnights she will text me about 8:30 to let me know she is putting LO down. This is at the tail end of her bed time and it bugs me. Every time I approach it she seems to just give me lip service. She does good for a week then back to her preferred not giving a rip.
