I'm blessed to have a MIL who is not nasty, crazy, rude etc. I only have a story or two about her but that's for another time.

I was at the flea market with my kidlett and bf. We usually reward her with a shopkins when we go since she hates the flea market but was awesome this trip. There is one booth that has the best prices and the most variety so we end up there. It's run by an older couple that are super friendly.

The woman is letting kidlett talk her ear off about shopkins. Eventually kidlett focuses on choosing the toy. The woman tells me how much her granddaughter loves shopkins. She had to choose what to give granddaughter though. DIL has a three toy rule and only for 3 holidays a year (bday, Xmas and easter).

She sighed and said "I just want to give her the world but I guess I have to tone it down some." she then complimented her DIL for "putting up with an old bat like me."

She threw in an extra toy for kidlett of course
