Today I received a call from a mutual family friend informing me that my InsaneJustHELL-nosisister has opened a new narrative about me.

To set the stage: Insane lives overseas and is nearly a decade older than me, she is entitled to an extreme, and is one of those people who constantly wants to fight. If she has a problem that needs to be addressed and/or is disagreed with it’s a fight, or just a flat declaration that the accuser is wrong and needs “mental help”.

Insane has three children, two of which live with my unfitEverTheVictim Mother and I made a major effort to be a buffer between EverTheVictim and those two kids when they first moved there. I was the last child to be parented by EverTheVictim and her parenting views have not changed over the years whatsoever... she is a terrible mother. But putting forth that effort was a terrible idea by the end because all I did was burn myself out, have one group of people dependent on me, and another group angry at me just for looking out for the kids best interests.

So, to “our friend” Insane reached out and claimed that I’ve been actively going around telling mutual friends/relatives negative things and lying about her. That insane wanted to know if our friend had heard from me because Insane wanted to explain HER side (the ‘truth’) of the lies I’ve supposedly been spreading. Mutual told Insane that we haven’t been speaking (which is mostly true and I haven’t said much of anything to Mutual about Insane and our issues). I’ve just been friends with Mutual for a long time and overall I don’t talk about Insane with people other than my SO.

Insane told Mutual that I have a HABBIT of spreading lies about her, that I’m a compulsive shit stirrer, and that we haven’t been around each other consistently in 20 years so I don’t “know Insane at all”. Basically invalidating anything I have or ever will say about her. Truthfully, Insane lived with EverTheVictim and myself off and and throughout her twenties and I have been around her constantly ever since, needless to say she hasn’t changed much if at all over the decades.

Ironically Insane was accusing me of doing the same thing she was actively doing! So Mutual, being a good friend, let me know what narrative is being placed on my me while I’m just trying to have my own life and separate from my families constant drama.

A bit about me. I live out of town, don’t have any social media platforms aside from Instagram. I’m not friends with Insane or have any other mutual friends with her and I also never post personal “status updates” on anything or talk to anyone on these platforms, I prefer to keep my head down.
