She doesn't particularly enjoy JRPGs because she finds the writing cheesy and the stories generally uninteresting. I agree with her, but the problem is the JRPGs that I think have an actual good story are either too old or low budget. What's an interesting game I can play with her to show the interesting parts of this genre?
For reference, she tried FF16, appreciated some of the battles but thought everything else was kind of terrible including the writing ( I agree the writing is overly pompous tries to make generally boring subject matter interesting)
Any console is fine
