JRPGs with the best fantasy board room politics scenes?

Post Body

One of my favorite things to see in a JRPG is the scenes where a bunch of faction leaders, diplomats, tacticians, etc. gather together in the fantasy equivalent of an office board room and discuss some high levels politics or war strategy. The high stakes, the melodrama, this shit is like crack to me when it's done well and I'm fiending for more

Some games I've enjoyed this in are:

Final Fantasy Tactics

Tactics Ogre

Vagrant Story (a little less boardroom-y past the intro but it still hits the themes well)

FFXIV (the war tent scenes before the start of Shadowbringers are some alltimers)

Basically every Suikoden game

Trails in the Sky, especially the bits with the coup at the end of FC

Fire Emblem, varies on a game by game basis but generally the parts where the characters sit down to talk war strategy are always a delight
