To update, a few more reviews have since come in after the embargo. Some more positive, some more negative. Apparently 30% of OpenCritic reviewers recommend it and it has an OpenCritic Rating of 'Weak'.
The presentation was praised, but it looks like the gameplay and looping mechanic isn't pulled off well. This review specifically pointed out issues where it messed up conversation order and other issues with the looping.
For those of you still getting it, a guide was posted. This tweet from someone else who played also calls it "a mess" and says "You'll be totally lost without a guide" so it might be useful.
