Question for those who transitioned from JET to an IT job in japan.

Post Body

(Emphasis on the “in japan” not in your home country) How did you guys transition from JET into an IT job in Japan? Which field of IT did you get into? Did you have prior experience in IT in your home country? How did you find your current IT job? Or how would you suggest looking for IT jobs in Japan? Are all the IT jobs in Tokyo or were you able to find jobs in smaller cities? Are you in the countryside or the city? Do you speak only Japanese in your jobs? Or both Japanese and English? Or English only? What certificates do you recommend to have? (I’m already aware of CompTIA trifecta, should be finished with it soon)

Where is the best place to apply and get interviews? And what’s some advice you wish you had beforehand?

Thank you
