Reapplying After Being an Alternate
Post Body

Hello, everyone! As we await for the results of our interview to be released late March or early April, I just want to ask those of you who were already alternates and reapplied the second time around.

For JET aspirants, what were the things you did different this year to bolster your chances of getting in? How did your interview go? Were the set of panelists the same? Did they recognize you from the last time you applied?

For current JET participants who used to be alternates, reapplied the following year, and got accepted. Could you please share your experiences as well on the preparations you did for your comeback and how you finally landed as a shortlisted candidate this time around?

What are the chances that an alternate would get accepted if they were to reapply the next year? Is there such a scenario where an alternate got alternated twice or worse, thrice or more?

Thank you for your insights and best of luck to my coapplicants!
