Some talk about goldsigns in another thread reminded me that I've often (briefly) wondered how goldsigns effect dating and intimacy.
I mean, some are just unsightly, but others...

• Could Yerin accidentally impale Lindon if her sword arms pop out while she's sleeping?
  
• What happens if a Sandviper's goldsign doesn't like their date? Or if spouses argue?
  
• Do wings get in the way of, or assist in spooning?
  
• What about just plain sleeping with wings, can you sleep on your back? Is it uncomfortable if you lay on top of a wing?
  
• If your Cloud Hammer partner is having bad/wild dreams, will their stormcloud wake you up?
  
• Like Cloud Hammers, how inconvenient is it if your goldsign constantly gives away your mood, or betrays you when you're telling a lie? Being able to tell if your spouse is lying or their type of mood isn't always gonna be pleasant either.
  
• Do Stormcaller goldsigns give shocks?
  
• Could a pointy Jai hair helmet put out an eye? Same goes for horns. Snuggling on Cradle sounds hazardous.
  
• Sleeping with a helmet on for the rest of your life... Good or bad? What happens if your scalp itches?
  
• There are various kinds of tail goldsigns... A dragon tail doesn't sound very sexy, and might make it hard to be the little spoon, if that's your thing. (Although it would provide great stability if standing...)
  
• Depending on the type of tail, could it be used to show affection or gross someone out? e.g. fuzzy cat tail vs rat tail
  
• Can goldsigns like tails, limbs, or beasties be harmed if you accidentally sleep on them, like when your foot falls asleep?
  
• Can you imagine needing a special chair because of your tail? No recliners for dragon tails!
  
• One dude, Altavian, had razor nails. His wife will probably never receive a massage from her husband.
  
• And some goldsigns must just be terribly hard on bedding and clothing. e.g. Having a patch of stone on your face would ruin silk or satin pillow cases.
  
• There was a guy with a patch of flame on his hand, is that real flame? Not allowed into the grainery, the paper store, the distillery... Only has pockets on one side of his robes.
