After Eithan's fight with Sha Miara Dross brought something to Lindon's attention:
[That was a little slow, don’t you think?] Dross asked him.
“Slow?”
[We could have done it faster.]
A puzzle piece clicked into place for Lindon. Eithan had fought like Lindon did with one of Dross’ combat solutions: as though he could see moves before they happened.
But, for Lindon, sometimes that wasn’t enough. Sometimes moving perfectly couldn’t erase the sheer difference in strength, or speed, or spiritual power.
So what could?
We know that Sages are often referred to by two possible titles:
When their title starts with "Sage of..." it's typically followed by something to do with the name of their path.
The other style of title has Sage preceded by a word that is relevant to their Icon. (Sword, Winter, Heart, Storm, maybe even Void...)
One example of the first style not alluding to their path is the Sage of a Thousand Eyes. Who is also called the Oracle Sage.
Notice, she's not called the observer sage, or the farseer sage, or the all-seeing sage.
So does she have some kind of future sight, or predictive ability?
And if Eithan and Cladia both had the same Overlord revelation ("I see"), then how much more do they share?
What do you think? Am I on to something, or have I finally gone mad?
