Buongiorno a tutti!
I’m an American visiting Italy for the first time and I’m absolutely in love with the place. I was wondering if anyone here might be able to suggest some unique souvenir ideas for some friends and family. Most of the people I had stuff in mind for are pretty well-traveled and I don’t want to resort to the typical 2€ generic keychains and fridge magnets. I want to bring back something unique that can only be found in Italy. I’ve heard from some folks here that tell me some of the places I’ll be visiting have some unique boutique shops that make their own soaps and candles and this is more or less the type of thing I’m looking for. Also open to food-related gifts as well! I’m currently in Rome but will also be visiting Florence, Siena, Pisa, Massa and possibly Cinque Terre.
If anybody here is from any of these places or are familiar with them, I’d appreciate any input!
Grazie per tutti i vostri esperti consigli !
