Can I play the game on steam with two controllers?

So I'm planning to buy the game on steam and wanna play it with my gf, but idk if we can play on my pc and just connect two controllers, can we do that? and does the game support some type of split screen if we play on one monitor? or can we play on two different monitors (I have 2 monitors on my pc).
