I will preface by saying I am Middle-Eastern.
I decided to tune out of the Middle-East because of the non-stop incidents of violence.
I saw the video of the naked Israeli woman's body being desecrated as it was paraded in the streets. This was absolutely appalling and gross.
Then, I read about a woman getting beaten up with the handle of a gun. Why, what for?
Israelis being held in caves for months and the barbaric malnutrition as well as mistreatment of Israelis.
The people who support Hamas are the same people that think life is cheap and if you suicide bomb yourself, you're a hero and here is a cheque for 25 k or etc.
You can't have peace with bad faith actors like this.
Where some cheer at the deaths of IDF soldiers or Israelis dying, Israelis debate the appropriate course of action to minimize deaths.
The mindset is toxic and it is ingrained in the minds of Palestinian youth.
Pro-Palestinian protests end up in vandalism and violence. You can hear them chanting slogans for Hamas and from the River to the Sea.
Hamas murders its own people and intimidates/terrorizes them.
If they didn't toss stones at Israelis, renounced violence, the members of the Likud would reimagine the peace process.
It is shocking that they would murder youngsters at a Rave where people attended to celebrate life.
Netennutella was right about a vision of collaboration in the Middle-East being the great alternative.
But Hamas and Hezbollah as well as its proxy supporters need to be dismantled.
These sickening calls to genocide Israelis and these deranged celebrations wishing death on Israel needs to go.
There needs to be a paradigm shift.
There needs to be a firm resolve for significant change.
My sincere condolences to the family members lost on October 7th for the Israelis who were affected. May their souls know peace and G-d bless them.
The events that transpired on that day shocks the conscience.
