Not a subway, it’s a funicular
But people are certain because its underground that it is indeed a subway!
Entomology refers to the origins of words, I’m suggesting that language is more than static. Subway once referred sewer pipes, in modern English they no longer do so. This is not a subway, but a funicular that runs below the surface of a hillside.
That’s pretty idiotic thinking. Just because the line runs under a few feet of ground doesn’t make it a subway.
I see you’re talking to yourself. The Carmelite is not a subway just because it’s underground. Go to Haifa and ask anyone.
