I'm currently writing my own story about a lone Mech Battalion Commander amidst an intergalactic war who, during a desperate attempt to take take out a Key enemy vessel, chased the escaping enemy into a wormhole not knowing where it would lead or what the effects of the wormhole would have on their craft. He/She then awakens in cave where some sort of ritual was performed to revive their crash-landed corpse. The remnants of the cultists who performed the ritual explain that they're in a world full of mythical creatures and magic. And in order to bring him back they had to place his mind in an alternate hosts' body.
So I got curious how close to the isekai genre I got with itπ
