can we talk about how sword art online isn't a real isekai?

I hate when ppl call sao an isekai bc it doesn't even meet the requirements to be classified as an isekai, such as either being transported to or reincarnated to another world. But in sao they are still in the real world but are just playing full dive games, it just itrates me.
