I've always found conspiracy theories kinda funny and cool, but not very plausible. Like, first of all WHY would they hide stuff like aliens, the shape of the earth, or futuristic tech (like the supposed tr3b anti gravity aircraft). And second, HOW? Some of these conspiracies would almost require more people to be in on it than the people they're deceiving, and would cost trillions if not quadrillions of dollars, mainly the flag earth ones, others would be way easier, but still it'd be nearly impossible to keep it quiet for even a whole year, and big conspiracies are often negatives for the powers that be in the long run because it ruins their reputation. Also, it seems a bit mustache twirling and unnecessary to hide things like that, like sure a program to spy on China, yeah that makes perfect sense, but I don't think our governments are evil or competent enough to hide aliens, nor can I even see a motive for a long term cover-up.
Crazy lies in the eye of the beholder. Considering that microplatics, climate change and various forever chemicals effects were utterly suppressed for upwards of 70 years by the fossile fuel industry and there might be no Roundup safety study that wasn't corrupted by outside interests I'm no longer as quick to rule things out.
Now. Do I think the government is in cooperation with Aliens?
Probably not but mainly because it posits that the government can somehow overcome both the Peter Principle and internal politicking year after year to ensure a smooth cooperation that doesn't end with indignant Aliens nuking us in relation at some point.
