Indeed. Though I think the albedo point is a thinking error. They treat trees as if they were a black sheet just sitting there instead of something that absorbs the heat and carries it off via evaporation. Need to pull together the papers I read on the topic but between evaporation and the fact that "reflect" means "bounce heat up and down between atmosphere and surface even at night" I feel like we've run into a classic spherical cow error.
