Should we replace our reproductive systems?
Post Body

This is the slightly more gross sequel to my previous post about digestive systems. The reproductive system is another one of those things I just really think it would be great to escape from personally. It bugs me less than the digestive system, but still... ewewewewewww. Also, it's just inefficient, gross, and kinda horrorific when you think about it. The way I see it, natural pregnancy involves the parasite growing like a tumor out of a host lifeform, being connected to it by a tendril of flesh to replace its absent organs, peeing inside the host, and oozing its way out of the host's crotch, screaming in a puddle of blood and other fluids as the host writhes in pain (and without modern tech they both usually die horrible deaths). Then consider the possibility that we could just craft new personalities digitally and suddenly "mother nature"'s way doesn't seem so appealing. What do you think? Would you do this, why or why not, and if you would what would you do instead?

OP is an obsessive simulationist he's just kind of like that.

No offense but I could tell who this post was by before seeing the username.
