IsItBullshit: Xfinity Blast

For anyone that has Comcast, you know that they offer pretty lackluster service. I got a letter in the mail today from Comcast saying that we were chosen for Xfinity Blast, doubling our upload/download speeds for no cost. I'm suspicious of Comcast, does anyone know if they'll end up raising our rates, or doing something similar?
