Hi, I have a really dumb question and I am hoping someone here can help me--and maybe save me some $$. I recently moved into a home with a Rainbird irrigation system. One of the sprinklers is extremely close to the driveway and, turns out, wasn't buried well (very dry soil loose around it, and it was sticking out further than the others from the ground). You can see where this is going, I 100% hit it with my car backing out one day. I thought I could just order a new replacement head from Rainbird's website, but when I followed directions on YouTube to dig it out and simply twist it in, I found that a much larger piece was cracked. What do I do? Do I need a contractor? I tried looking for the pipe but it must be buried pretty deep, I found what looks to be the start but not where this piece connects in. Does anyone know if this long cracked piece is just part of the single sprinkler head that I can order and just try to re-screw in somehow, or did I break pipe and sprinkler head? I can't find anything on the Rainbird site and they are closed until Monday. Thank you in advance. Where it is broken is where it started to stick out of the ground.
