So I finally followed the discharge side and pulled it out from under the the topsoil. She has it running through her densely wooded lake bank up to the valves, so it wasn't a big deal.
Anyway, there was a T in the line (expected), so I followed it along the bank until it T'd AGAIN back towards her dock... Weird...it ended at a hose spigot that looked odd.
THERE WAS NO LINE ATTACHED TO IT.
The line had been knocked off and under the dock, and was spraying underwater. I never saw it. Plugged up the line and the damn thing runs like a dream now.
