Post Body

Lord Drumm

I write to you in the hopes of coming to an agreeable terms of trade between our houses. I am in need of iron to continue construction projects in my lands. As I am sure you know the North is limited on its pools of iron. What we do have is a surplus of wood. Wood that you can use to build more ships. While I am hoping to trade both of our limited resources if gold or other goods are needed to complete this arrangement I would be open for discussion. Please send word back with your terms.

Lord Alaric Cerwyn, Lord of House Cerwyn

Alaric finished his letter and had Maester Ollymn take it to the ravens. As he walked out his son Ryon walked in.

"You called for me father?"

He looked up at his eldest and smiled.

"Yes, you are to ride for Winterfell and meet with Lord Bolton and his daughter. If the Old Gods are good you two will be wed and our houses combined. While you are their though I would like you to help in training their troops. If a war is to come soon I want our house and those of our family to be prepared."

Ryon tried to hide his shock at his fathers words. He knew that this day would be coming. If his mother was still alive he would probably already be married.

"I will leave at once father and send word when I arrive."
